WHO WE ARE

The story behind the tagline:

From an at-risk teen in Detroit, out of the house at 15 moving from place to place, putting himself through high school and college, surviving a violent robbery, to a determined entrepreneur shaped by Motor City grit, our founder built True Care from humble beginnings that we honor to this day. His journey is the foundation of our company and the inspiration behind our tagline: “Performance for Purpose.”

Over more than 25 years, that path stretched from Detroit to the mountains of Denver, ultimately bringing us to a mile-high elevation of 5,280 feet, and we’re still rising.

“Performance for Purpose” reflects our commitment to caring for consumers and the brands they love, but inside our company it means even more. We believe our performance fuels our success, and that success empowers us to elevate people. Through our charitable giving model, shared across our family of companies, we turn that belief into action through our non-profit organizations, particularly Peaceful Hugs https://www.peacefulhugs.org families throughout the country.
